I want to make sure you always feel in control of your subscription. Here is everything you need to know about cancelling, pausing, or making changes to your Dear Mama Letters plan.
Monthly and Twice the Love subscriptions
You may cancel your monthly or twice monthly subscription at any time. To avoid being charged for the following month please cancel before your next billing date. Your billing date is the same date each month as the date you originally subscribed. Once you cancel you will not be charged again and your subscription will not renew. I do not offer refunds for the current billing period once payment has been processed and your envelope has been prepared for mailing.
Annual subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are billed once per year on your signup date. You may cancel your annual subscription at any time to prevent it from renewing at the end of your annual period. Cancelling an annual subscription does not stop your remaining envelopes from being sent — you will continue to receive your monthly envelopes through the remainder of the year you have already paid for. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the billing date. Please cancel at least 3 days before your annual renewal date to ensure the cancellation is processed before the next charge.
How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account at dearmamaletters.org and managing your subscription from your account dashboard. You can also email me directly at hello@dearmamaletters.org and I will take care of it for you promptly. I aim to respond to all cancellation requests within 1 to 2 business days.
Pausing your subscription
If you need a break but do not want to cancel entirely you can pause your subscription from your account dashboard. Pausing stops future billing and deliveries until you choose to resume. Please pause before your next billing date to avoid being charged for that month.
Skipping a month
If you would like to skip a single month without pausing your full subscription please email me at hello@dearmamaletters.org before the 1st of the month you would like to skip. I will do my best to accommodate skip requests received before the ship date.
Changing your plan
If you would like to switch from Monthly Love to Twice the Love or from a monthly plan to an annual plan please email me at hello@dearmamaletters.org before your next billing date. I am happy to make plan changes and will ensure the switch happens smoothly without any duplicate charges.
Address updates before cancelling
If you are moving and would like to cancel please make sure to update your address before the 1st of the month if you have an envelope scheduled to ship. I am not responsible for envelopes sent to an outdated address if I was not notified before the ship date.
