Shipping Policy
Dear Mama Letters ships all envelopes via USPS First Class mail using Forever Stamps. Because my envelopes are lightweight, flat, and hand-sealed, they travel just like a standard piece of mail — right to your mailbox, no signature required.
Ship dates
I mail all envelopes on the 1st of each month. If you subscribe before the 1st of the current month your first envelope ships that month. If you subscribe after the 1st your first envelope ships on the 1st of the following month. Twice the Love subscribers receive their second envelope on the 15th of each month. Annual subscribers receive a special welcome envelope within 3 to 5 business days of signing up.
Delivery times
Delivery typically takes 3 to 7 business days once your envelope has been mailed, depending on your location within the United States. Please allow up to 10 business days before reaching out about a late delivery, as USPS First Class mail can occasionally experience delays especially around holidays.
Tracking
Because I ship via First Class stamp mail I am not able to provide individual tracking numbers for each envelope. If your envelope has not arrived within 10 business days of the ship date please reach out to me at hello@dearmamaletters.org and I will look into it for you right away.
Domestic shipping only
I currently ship within the United States only. PO Boxes are perfectly fine since I send flat envelopes via standard USPS mail. I do not currently ship internationally but I hope to offer international shipping in the future. Join my email list to be the first to know when that changes.
Lost or delayed mail
I am not responsible for mail lost or delayed by USPS once your envelope has left my hands. However I genuinely care that your envelope reaches you and I will always do my best to make it right. If your envelope appears to be lost please email me at hello@dearmamaletters.org and I will work with you to find a solution.
Returned mail
If your envelope is returned to me due to an incorrect or incomplete address I will reach out to you by email. Please make sure your shipping address is up to date in your account before the 1st of each month. I am happy to resend returned envelopes however a small reshipping fee may apply to cover postage.
Address changes
You can update your shipping address anytime by logging into your account or emailing me at hello@dearmamaletters.org. Please make any address changes before the 1st of the month to ensure your next envelope goes to the right place. I am not responsible for envelopes sent to an outdated address if I was not notified before the ship date.
